Info about Boss Rush mode.
Boss rush lets you pick a savegame to use, and then select a course. Once started the timer start once you enter the dark portal thing on the right side to go to the first boss.
Once you defeat a boss you return back to the starting room, and can pick the MP and HP maxups to heal up completely. But the timer will still run, so if you want a good time you'll want to not take damage and rush for the right side portal again.
After defeating the last boss the timer stops, and you get a reward. First time completes have a one time unique reward. This reward is then added to the savegame you used.
Boss Rush is playable with Miriam or Zangetsu (afaik)
